Take a day trip out from Les Gets

Visit this chic Swiss city with the very large water fountain known as the jet d’eau, a landmark of Geneva. Wander along the quay of beautiful Lac Leman. Visit numerous museums, smart boutiques, parks, the botanical gardens & galleries.
Devil's Bridge Gorge/Thonon
In an exceptional forest environment the Devil's Bridge Gorge (Gorges du Pont du Diable) offers an impressive insight into the power of erosion. Morzine's Dranse River dives deep into a fissure beneath a natural archway formed from the mountain rock. Visit this fabulous gorge, then spend the afternoon in the lake side towns of Thonon & Yvoire.
Chamonix Mont Blanc
Visit the breath-taking town at the base of Mont Blanc and ride the old train up to the largest glacier in France - Le Mer du Glace from where you can visit the illuminated ice cave. Or you can take the highest cable car in Europe to 3842m and see the magnificent landscape of the Alps from the Aiguille du Midi.
Annecy, Haute Savoie
Visit this wonderful 12th century medieval town in the Haute Savoie. Annecy has the 3rd largest lake in Europe with an ancient chateau and the unique Palais d’Isle – an old Medieval prison. Wander along the boardwalk around the lake, or picnic in the park and take in the amazing views all around. Sometimes called "Venice of the Alps", this idyllic description comes from the two canals and river running through the old city. A twice-weekly market and many interesting boutiques, galleries and restaurants.
One of the most beautiful villages in France. Narrow streets lead to the Lake side water and an abundance of flowers brightly colour the medieval buildings. Within the ramparts and the fortified gates lies the impressive 14th century castle and over 700 years of History plus the enthralling Garden of the Five Senses.
