Jane
Jane, a farmers daughter from Yorkshire, is a qualified Intensive Care nurse and was an ex-surgical ward sister for 25 years. She moved out to France 27 years ago for a winter season and never went back!
A competent horsewoman for many years led her to try skiing in her 20’s and she loved it. Now a very competent skier, as good on-piste as off-piste. She has climbed Mont Blanc twice and skied down the North Face. Completed the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt on skis and when she’s not showing her guests around the pistes and Portes du Soleil can often be seen skinning up a mountain to keep fit. Summertime she is either cycling, swimming or water-skiing, she really embraces her outdoor life in the Alps.
Rob
Robert was a builders merchant for many years in Cornwall, he reached 40 and decided to change direction in his life! He loved skiing and was a keen visitor to Morzine and The Portes du Soleil. So when he decided to take a chalet for one winter it was naturally in Les Gets that we ended up. Robert is a very good strong skier and has done The Haute Route twice. He cycled the Route des Grandes Alpes to Nice and climbed Mont Blanc all on the wrong side of 50! An accident skiing 16 years ago, breaking his pelvis, led him to set up an airport transfer business and Ski Transfers.com was born.
We’ve been at Chalet Bluebell for 27 years and we still have guests coming back to us in Les Gets from our very first year. However, the children, that were then throwing their coco pops around the dining room are now challenging us on the snow and even coming on holiday with their children!
It’s a great life we would not want to change it!!!

“What can I say ? What an absolutely amazing week we had and all too soon it came to an end. From the start to the end you were absolutely amazing and could not do enough for us, you totally made our holiday the best it could be. We cannot thank you enough for all that you did for us, the running around, the skiing and looking after our children giving us a break. Totally amazing hosts with 5 star treatment. We loved the time out with you skiing and going out of your way to host an amazing picnic. Our children absolutely love you both and the chalet. It is like their second home !!! All went off to school thoroughly depressed they weren’t skiing this morning. Like I said from the moment we arrived it was like coming home. “From the moment you book to the moment you travel, Jane and Rob tend to your every need, the chalet has such a homely feel about it, and you are welcomed as soon as you arrive. The food served from breakfast to cake to evening meal is turned out at restaurant quality, andthe all the staff look after you very well.
Each day you can use the taxi service included from the chalet, they drop you off to collect your ski’s, then once you have had your fantastic days skiing and choose a bar for apres, you can give them a call and they will collect you when you are ready, this is as good as a ski in and ski out chalet.
We are already talking about booking up again next year and have spoken to friends about using the chalet as well.

Chalet Bluebell is beautiful!! Warm and friendly within easy distance of the ski lifts and village.
The staff and food are second to none but undoubtedly the hosts Jane and Rob are the best ever!! Nothing is too much trouble to make sure your stay is fantastic every visit even taking you out skiing to ensure you get the most of this fantastic ski area!!!
